FUCAM @ the Paris International Airshow (Le Bourget Paris)

The FUCAM project is glad to announce its participation in the 52nd International Paris Air Show which will take place from 19 to 25 June 2017 at the Exhibition Center of Le Bourget, a few kilometers North of Paris, France. Additionally,  a brief FUCAM presentation of the project’s progress and outcomes will be performed by the project Coordinator, Dr. Helge. Fromm, in the frame of the SUNJET II Forum on "Europe-Japan Cooperation in the domain of R&T for Aviation", which will be held on the 21st of June 2017 during the International Paris Air Show 2017 at VIPARIS Conference Centre (Hall 2C) room 3.

Established in 1909, the International Paris Air Show is still the most important show in the world for the aeronautics and space industry. At the last show in 2015, over 2,300 companies exhibited and almost 300 top level official delegations and some 150,000 trade visitors came from the world over. In France, the show is a real driver for this sector and a major catalyst for much international collaboration. As such it is the place where the sector’s decision makers choose to meet and gather as they come here to exhibit, sell and buy all the latest innovations. Since the Show is so massively popular with the worldwide aerospace community and the general public, it offers unrivalled opportunities for conducting business, and for being seen and known. An absolute key event for the whole profession, the International Paris Air Show is organised by SIAE, a subsidiary of GIFAS, the French Aerospace Industries Association.

With 2,300 international exhibitors, 150,000 trade visitors, 30 national pavilions and almost 300 official delegations, the Paris Air Show is still the biggest show of its kind and a must-attend event for all professionals working in the aeronautics and space sector. The first four days of the Show will be reserved for trade visitors, followed by three days open to the general public. FUCAM will be present at this event through INEA’s booth located at Hall 2B - G125, where a project related poster will be displayed, some leaflets will be available for distribution and some FUCAM related slides will be showcased.
